ANA Newsletter – Year in Review: 2014

Letter from Dr. Arno Fried

Arno-Fried2014 was a great year for Advanced Neurosurgery Associates (ANA). Our “Neuroscience Institute Without Barriers” concept has allowed our neurosurgical practice to expand throughout New Jersey and New York. Our new family-centered offices in Rutherford, Morristown and New Brunswick are now open full time. Dr. Allison Rathmann has joined ANA from her prestigious fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, one of only 219 female neurosurgeons in the country.

Our local, national and international efforts continued. Our surgeons presented at seminars and medical meetings, both locally and internationally. We also appeared on informative topics in popular media such as newspapers, radio, and television programs. Our accolades included many Top Doctor designations in Castle Connolly, NY Magazine, NJ Monthly, Inside Jersey, NJ Family Magazine, and The New York Times among others. Hackensack University Medical Center was again highly ranked in adult and pediatric neuroscience on the U.S. News & World Report, under my leadership.

Most importantly, our practice had many inspiring patient success stories, including some innovative surgical procedures, that continue to motivate and inspire us to focus on everything we can to help patients.

We look forward to an equally successful 2015.

Best wishes,
Arno Fried, MD, FACS, FAANS
